Avenue of star is located on the Victoria Harbor waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui. Modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame, this iconic street pays homage to Hong Kong film stars. People go to watch the Symphony of Lights, a light show on the tower at night.
The waterfront promenade surrounding the New World Center in East Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon was built by the New World Group in 2004. The Avenue of Stars opened to the public in April 2004 with an opening ceremony attended by dignitaries.
